Pop Star =/= Meme.

Your prediction that she is destined to become a meme isn’t grounds for this to be added to the database.

Popular event or person does not constitute as a meme.

In fact, it’s almost always opposite; the obscure, unknown things of the internet become the well-known memes.

regardless of meme status, possible up and coming meme is hating on the hook nosed black haired chick in the audience who has that look of disgust/shaddenfreuda on her face when Byle first comes on stage… i truly hope that no one finds out who she is.

in regards to her meme status, some people are calling her the new queen of /b/citing that she has killed boxxy and taken her place.

I’m bumping this to get some more feedback. I think this might be the fastest growing viral video of all time. does anyone have any #’s across all the videos?

Definitely an insanely popular viral rise. By now I’ve seen a few spoofs, so yes there is memetic material there. I’m just still sour on these “direct from the mainstream” phenomena. It’s a slippery slope to declaring Kraft Macaroni and Cheese a meme.

Here’s a website that claims to have calculated the 100 million club with the most viral videos of all time and Susan Boyle is currently number 5. With the likelihood of the video growing they expect her video to continue to rise on the chart.
