Johnny Bravo - F--- me, no wonder people hate Tumblr so much

I'm not angry at people pointing out Johnny for being a dumb ass and just an ass.

That's the point and fun of the show.

I'm angry that to these people, EVERYTHING has to be some kind of political thing, or this "I can't enjoy this because [insert controlling ideology here]" nonsense.

Basically, rather than simply looking at the series as is (Johnny doesn't talk to women the right way and humorously pays the price for it), they're arguing over whether or not it's compatible with Feminism or leaving out context and at this point I just get disappointed that people are this entrenched in belief systems that nothing can ever be taken are face value anymore or that author's intentions somehow no longer matters.

but consider this nuanced reality- the humor is all based on failure, like in ed edd n' eddy. the plight of man is always fodder for comedy
