YOU CAN'T JUST DRAW A GIRL, GET A GIRL TO VOICE THE GIRL, AND THEN SAY IT'S A DUDE

Honestly this is just lazy and I'm getting tired of it. For contrast, look at Kuranosuke from Princess Jellyfish: they got an actual guy to voice him, and while pretty damn convincing in looks you can still buy that he's a man. This is just creating a girl character and slapping on "male" after the fact.
