you can do that with anything. for example, if i wanted to highlight how shitty capitalism was i would say that only a select few students get to use computers for their test, and get a handicap of 50 points, while most of everyone else gets to share the same library book for the 60 minute test. Sure if you are really smart you might overcome those odds, and if you are really stupid or lazy you might still fail with a computer and a handicap, but most people wont do either and it has less to do with ability and more to do with luck.

I agree with the premise that a motivated professor without fear of being fired could make their class an example of everything wrong with any economic system. I'm not sure your example lampoons capitalism specifically. I'd have to know how the few were selected. Assuming its random, it seems more a critique of class systems in general. Now if its based on how much money your parents donated to the university fundraiser then yeah, you're spot on.
