And the related videos are actually related instead of a bunch of popular clickbaits that has nothing to do with what you watch.

I remember there was a 5 minute limit even earlier than that.
That's why Stage6 was unbeatable in terms of video hosting at the time. It allowed any length, resolution up to 1080p and the videos loaded really fast. After the site kicked the bucket in February 2008 it still took Youtube quite a few years to improve to that level of service.

I'd love to make a KYM article as a tribute to that site but it seems so difficult.
