Furries / Furry - Furries in 1997 and 2017

Not really sure what this is comparing. Sure, there's a lot of bad furry art out there, with the over deigned and ugly OC/fursonas but that's just because the community is much larger. It''s borderline strawmanning.

There's even more actually good artists out there, to the point that many of their OCs are fairly popular and not just R34 of pre-existing characters. Especially compared to back in the day when artists were few and most of it just came from animations and the occasional video game that'd churn out a sexy design, which were what inspired furries in the first place.
