The only character that(I think) can't come back is Shade from Sonic Chronicles because Ken Penders.

Couldn't she technically come back if Ian Flynn wanted to write her in the comic? Unlike Sally and the Freedom Fighters, she's purely a Sega character, so it's not like she's tied to Archie.
