Masters of the Universe - Kevin Smith had one job

And now we wait for the meta episode where they not-so-subtly insult the entire fanbase of the original and pat themselves on the back for such epic comeback.

I have no idea why Kevin Smith was involved in this or why anyone would have any hope for it once he was announced for it. Outside of the Clerks-related stuff he's done nothing but mediocre to awful flops for like 20 years and is only still around because he has some friends in high places (like a certain Harvey Weinstein, whom he worked almost exclusively with for over two decades). Seriously, his debut film has a scene of a guy yelling at a woman "HOW MANY DICKS HAVE YOU SUCKED TODAY?!" and he has the fucking nerve to call people misogynic?

Also, as a fun fact; he once wrote a Batman 12-issue series for DC called 'The Widening Gyre'. It was so fucking bad that DC never published the second half.
