This is hardly edgy – I consider it basic knowledge for anyone who wants to understand politics (especially in the United States). Now, if you want edgy, consider this: when the across the board cuts were mandated after the failure of the debt ceiling deal earlier this year, what part of the government were people most concerned with protecting: health care, education, infrastructure, or the military?

(Hint: it’s the one that blows up Pakistani civilians with drones.)
