My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Use These Things for What again?

Does anyone think it is weird that she just shows up and starts going to public school. I’m hope there is an explanation.

Though, when you really think about it, Twilight really shouldn't be trying to eat with her mouth. She's a unicorn, and we've seen ponies using utensils before.
It'd make a lot more sense if she was just failing to use her hands properly.
