I highly doubt that you cared that much in the first place. People who actually care don't just give up because Internet users are being retarded. They question stories, find sources, and keep helping instead of quitting and assuming that everyone's a giant asshole.

It is, but it kinda infuriates me that those get more attention than these kinds of posts. Also, posts that intentionally spread misinformation are a blight as well.

Then again, I gotta remember this is tumblr, and a majority of its userbase is preteen-to-teenagers who think theirs' is the ultimate truth when they haven't experienced much of the world outside their comfort zones, which also somewhat justifies some things.
