I think that depends on the type of anime. Can't really lump it all together in a single category. Especially with a lot being based on mangas, and they don't really follow tropes like that.

They have their own tropes to worry about.

For the Western Animation one, don't forget:
- Body switching
- Alternate history/ Grim future/ Mirror world
- Sucked into a TV and going to various channels (can also work with movies/ video games)
- Haunted house/ "Scaredy-cat" (usually if the show doesn't focus on paranormal or supernatural stuff, but that's not always the case)
- Attack of the 50-foot whatever
There are probably dozens more that I cant' think of.
