aduit are gonna have to hand this world But what kinda world are we adults gonna make? What kinda world do we wanna pass to these kids? a nda so thkd? off to this little scamp and the rest of his generation. If we haven't even figured that out ourselves. we're never gonna get anywhere. So are we gonna make a world where everyone can coexist together? Our survival in this world depends on all of us living together in harmony. It is aimed towards kids. And that's a very good thing! These messages are given to children in attempt to teach them very important life lessons that many adults completely disregard. That's not to say adults can't learn from it too, I think a lot of these messages are very important for everyone Remember that "target audience" is not the same thing as "only for". A lot of people tend to forget that.

I would take the lessons from Pokemon more seriously if the villains themselves, like…had better motives to begin with.
For example: Lysandre lives in a very peaceful, beautiful land…but he still decides "Herp derp, beauty should last forever, time to form a stupid crime syndicate and cause trouble."
Even if the lesson from that story IS worthwhile, it is tarnished for me because the path to get there is full of stupid crap, unnatural characters being evil with no relatable motives…I heard the antagonists in Black and White had a good story though. ._.
Anywho…ummm…If the Pokemon morals start relating to real people instead of "Idealistic nutjob seeing problems where none exist and trying to kill everyone to fix said problems", then they will carry more weight for me. As it is, I just play the story to get to the inevitable legendaries.
