Well, a lot of the early Church were crucified and it was the method used to put down Jesus.

But then again, a lot of other early Christians were beheaded, set on fire, stabbed, speared, fed to lions in the Colosseum….

I think the J-Man is the reason everyone equates Crucifix = Christian. Had Jesus been stabbed to death by the sword, maybe the sword would be worn around the necks of some believers and hung up in some homes.

the crucifixion was a execution method used by the Roman, Spartacus and is ex-slave friends were all crucified for their rebellion.
