Though I don’t think it falls under Hyrule, for some reason you’ve reminded me of the Bipin and Blossom’s son sidequest from the Oracle games. I mean, you actually help raise a kid and essentially everything in his life depends on Link (giving the parents advice, helping them with money, etc.) and you can fuck up and he’ll grow to have no purpose in life… or become a musician, a swordsman, or a farmer like his dad. Still one of my favorite things in all of the Zelda series. I would totally be cool with a Zelda game where an older (possibly manlier and epic bearded) Link has just had child with Zelda and suddenly a threat against them and the world becomes A LOT more powerful and personal than ever before; plus it would be amusing having Link raise a kid throughout the course of a game when he can’t talk. Maybe the kid would also only speak in grunts and shouts, too. Somebody, turn my brain off. I can’t get it to stop.
