Gravity Falls - the wait really is that bad

Same with Over the Garden Wall.

Not to say it isn't great, but it was a mini series released in quick succession. It is hardly a fair comparison to a long in depth series with 40+ episodes.

Also, I have to somewhat question the validity of the statistics. Does this include steven bomb? Because that would definitely skew the results.

Yeah, if you wanna get into Gravity Falls, youd better learn to become REALLY patient.
