For those having issues with this: you can just right-click the image shown after clicking a Google Image result and select "Open image in a new tab", and it works the same way as the old "View Image" button, effectively surpassing the hassle.

Google is an extremely powerful, megalomaniacal company, yet they're complete wimps sometimes. How about they do this: next time a company comes by and complains their publicly available images can be seen on their own (like every single fucking image on the internet), just say "yeah? Well guess what? Good bye! No more search results for you, image, web or otherwise. Have fun!"

They silence all sorts of other dissidents who challenge their mighty empire, so why is GettyImages of all things so scary to them? This isn't even a media outlet smearing them or something.

As a web developer I can tell you this: if you don't want someone to copy something from you, don't put it online.
