My problem with the blue shell is that it doesn't even help the person coming last. If they knock the person in first place down, the guy in second place will just take that spot, it doesn't help the guy in last in the slightest. After being hit by it you only really spin for a second or two, then by a few seconds later the guy who was in first is back on his way like nothing happened. It will extend the match by half a minute at the most, the guy in last is still coming last because the people he can immediately overtake are unaffected, and it essentially makes first and second place swap places. If I was coming last, i'd want a bullet bill, star, queen mushroom, triple red shells or something like that, not the blue shell.
