10 Alien Memes Inspired By Congress's UFO Hearing
Today, the world is staying tuned to (and joking about) a hearing involving assessing sighted UFOs as defense threats in the USA. America's Congress is being gathered together to witness some UFO footage that has successfully defied explanation by professionals. More hearings are supposedly coming soon, but for now, we're captivated by the bizarre concept of our Congressmen sitting around watching a presentation on UFOs and shown some grainy, pixelated footage.
It's similar to that time in 2020 when the senate confirmed UFOs are a thing they've been studying, which of course came after years of conspiracy theorists' speculation that the governments of developed countries have been hiding knowledge of alien activity for years. Until definitive proof of aliens is discovered and released to the public, all we can do is joke about everything we don't know about them. Here are some of our favorites.
What’s That Vague Shape?
Why are these cameras always so bad? All of us have cell phones with better video quality than the footage we see of UFOs.
To Be Fair, This Is What May 2020 Felt Like
This image from the movie Independence Day embodies a lot of our fears about aliens completely destroying us, especially with how bad the past couple years have been going. It's just our luck.
Both Are Scary Thoughts
There's just no good answer here, but one of them obviously has to be the case. Being alone in the entire universe is somehow much scarier.
Come On, Pay Your Own Bills
My Area 51 alien is a meme trope that involves people describing raising and hanging out with aliens they've picked up at area 51 to keep as pets.
Finally Putting that Bunker to Good Use
Have you had an apocalypse bunker just lying around? Well, luckily, you'll probably get to use it someday.
