When you sign up to Truth Social, you get three feeds to access: People, Truths and Hashtags. Under the People tab, Donald Trump is (of course) the first name. But scroll down a while, past Tulsi Gabbard, Libs of TikTok, and the other more politically-charged accounts, and there’s a page that’s just called "memes" which posts a series of "Truths."
The interface of the website is pretty much a clone of Twitter, with Truths replacing Tweets. Some of the Truths from @memes do, in a weird way, kind of slap. They might even be what you call good. While the humor is more Facebook-y than anything, these memes participate in some well-known formats and have moments of non-political wit. More charged and perhaps controversial Truths (which tend to get more likes on the account) aren’t on this list, but those exist too. The memes represented here show how a specific corner of the contemporary right likes to get its laughs.

The simplicity and directness of this one would cross over to the mainstream.

This is the future that liberals want, according to the Truth Social people. Or maybe it's the future that the big timber industry (which was given free rein to log on many public lands during the last administration) wants?
