10 NFT Memes That Are Definitely More Valuable Than An NFT
NFTs have taken the internet by storm, and despite the market crashing, they're still out there, causing a nuisance. By now, you probably know what an NFT is, even if it doesn't make sense: it's just a piece of digital artwork you can spend an absurd amount of money on to keep in your crypto wallet, usually with the expectation that you can resell it at a later time for more money (good luck with that). The most popular NFTs are Bored Apes, which are essentially just ugly monkeys people will shell out millions for.
In short, NFTs are by definition "non-fungible," meaning they have no inherent worth. This hasn't stopped the biggest crypto exchange in the US, Coinbase, from getting in on the NFT game, nor has it stopped hundreds of celebrities from losing lots of their money on Bored Apes. But really, this changes nothing about the NFT's value. I'm not here to give you financial advice, but these memes may remind you why you should approach any NFT purchase with caution.
