14 Creations From Reddit's 'DiWHY' That Went Way Too Far

We've all tried DIYing things before. It's just part of human nature to try and get something done on your own at a fraction of the cost instead of driving to your local store. But the thing is, sometimes you shouldn't be DIYing certain things. In fact, some DIY creations are absolute monstrosities, and they should have been set on fire or driven to the local dump the moment they were made.

Sometimes, it's a safety issue. Other times, they just look incredibly dumb. But these DIY fails are truly beyond our comprehension, because no one should have ever made them, let alone continue to use them. However, all of these images were really caught in the wild, where people were passing them off as totally normal things. Here are some of our favorite times people really should have just left the work to professionals.

Or Just Use a Fork

D r/EDC u/tonystark29. 22h. reddit I designed and 3D printed this fork that uses any 1/4" hex screwdriver as a handle. If you already carry a 1/4" screwdriver handle, you could turn it into a functional utensil by 3D printing this. Printable file is in the description. MUBARE 1/4 1/2
