11 Disturbing Takes On Cartoon Characters In Real Life
If you grew up watching cartoons, this is about to change the way you look at your favorite characters. They're no longer the wholesome characters you're used to, or even remotely close to them. That's because 3D artists absolutely violated them in unimaginable ways. We can't say we understand why, but for some people, ruining childhoods and making the rest of us deeply uncomfortable is a great pastime, and now we have to witness these creations and emotionally process the horrible imagery they contain.
Our favorite cartoon characters didn't deserve this. We used to love them, but now we can never look at them the same way ever again. They were once so much fun, but now, thanks to artist Miguel Vasquez, they're completely terrifying. We don't know how he came up with this, but 3D renditions of our favorite television characters are his specialty, and we love them as much as we hate looking at them. Take a look at some of the best below.

Gary, everyone's favorite sea snail from SpongeBob, looks pretty awful in real life. He looks like a monster concept drawn up (and immediately rejected) for the original Star Trek.
Bugs Bunny

Here's Bugs Bunny, a smaller Chungus to haunt your memories. He's from the classic Looney Tunes, but now our childhood favorite classics won't feel the same anymore.
Marge and Homer Simpson

Homer Simpson and Marge Simpson, both as real people rather than Simpsons style characters. This is what the Habsburgs would look like now if they were still keeping it in the family.
Patrick

The Savage Patrick meme is brought to life with Patrick Star from SpongeBob. Does it ruin the meme, or improve it? You decide.
Finn

Here's what Finn from Adventure Time looks like in the mind of Miguel Vasquez. His lack of a nose never bothered me until now.
Mr. Krabs

We've got another SpongeBob character, and this time it's Mr. Krabs. Now we know how the Krusty Krab got its name.
SpongeBob

Of course, we had to go with SpongeBob SquarePants himself. Did you know Bikini Bottom is supposedly based on Bikini Atoll where atomic bombs were tested? So honestly, this Chernobyl-style SpongeBob actually makes a lot of sense.
Eddy

Speaking of Chernobyl, here's Eddy from Ed, Edd, n Eddy. It's a tough day to be a '90s kid.
Mike Wazowski

Mike Wazowski is an iconic meme figure from Monsters Inc.. He also has way more teeth than expected here, but at least he doesn't have two of those eyes.
Phineas

Phineas from Phineas and Ferb. He was already shaped weirdly, but this is somehow much worse. Now we wonder what he looks like from the front.
Bubblebass

Bubblebass from SpongeBob, a character that would be a lot less memorable if it wasn't for this image scarred into our minds forever. Did you forget the pickles? Next time, you won't.
