20 Memes From the UEFA Euro Finals

The UEFA European Championship has been memorable so far. It's come to a close, and spoiler alert: England lost the finals. After the drama caused by some English fans recently, including a famous incident where they tried to shine a laser pointer into the eyes of a competing team's goalie to blind him, it's kind of a relief. Lots of people who couldn't care less about sports have taken to social media to voice their support of Italy due to the many unpleasant incidents with England fans lately. It's believed that a team with such a violent and hateful fanbase shouldn't win. Of course, the vast majority of England fans are perfectly normal people, but the online community is generalizing here, and so they insisted fans should be punished by watching England lose.

And they did. England vs. Italy memes are everywhere right now, and it's easy to see why. Hopefully, the good England fans are coping well, and the bad ones aren't trying to beat someone up outside the stadium again and booing during the Italian national anthem every time they hear it.
