Are The Texts Between Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign Real?

Back in December 2023, X user KonnyTalks posted a screenshot of a text exchange allegedly held between rappers Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign. The text message sees West complaining about getting coal for Christmas and having no family to celebrate the holidays with. From there, a flurry of other alleged texts between the two were posted to X between June and August 2024, each more bizarre than the last.

So, are the texts real? Well, despite some people believing that they are due to their high quality, they are all fake. The texts are simply photoshops made by KonnyTalks for a laugh, with most of them painting West as a man constantly confused about what he's being told and making absurd requests of his collaborator Ty.

в tydollasign Saw Kai Cenat at North's birthday I'm going to rizz him Rizz him, you told me it means kill от So? What? Oh yeah \$ Σ

How Are The Fake Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign Texts Used In Memes?

Between June and August 2024, KonnyTalks created dozens of these fake text exchanges between the Vultures collaborators, each one painting West as more of a goober than the last. Some have gone particularly viral on X, including one where West fails to understand what "rizz" means and one where he wonders why Ty has compared him to Garfield.

Now, other X users are getting in on the meme. Most notably, X user @ratio79110358 recently posted a fake text exchange where West suggests that Ty start a Thai food restaurant called "Ty Land," insisting it's a good idea. The post gained over 100,000 likes in just a day, showing that the fake text meme still has legs months later.
