What's The 'You Digging In Me' Meme? The TikTok Sound From A LoveAndLightTv Video Explained
An explicit video in which a man is moaning, "You digging in me," has become somewhat of a controversial meme on TikTok over the last few months.
The man's name is LoveAndLightTv and his expressive, vocal pillow talk is spreading fast online removed from the original video's context. Of course, the video is from Twitter / X where graphic content is commonplace. On TikTok, meme creators have ironically subverted the gay bedtime relations heard taking place.
Why did this become a meme and how is it used online? Let's explain.
Where Did The 'You Digging In Me' Meme Come From?
A few months ago in July, a gay OnlyFans model named LoveAndLightTv shared an explicit video to his Twitter / X account. In it, he's heard saying, "You digging in me." Of course, he's referring to his behind.
The video became a meme when internet users stripped the audio and recontextualized it for memetic use, removing it from the video's visuals. This made it safe to share on TikTok where community guidelines are a bit stricter.
Many of the memes that use the You Digging In Me audio make jokes about "digging" into things like backpacks or dirty ears. Others show delicious food like french fries or chicken wings being dipped into circular sauce trays, roughly resembling the original video's "digging."

Who Is LoveAndLightTv?
The guy whose voice can be heard in the You Digging In Me meme is named LoveAndLightTv. As stated, he's an OnlyFans model who makes lewd content catered to gay Black men.
Since 2023, LoveAndLightTv's videos have spawned numerous memes that are all structurally similar. In all of them, his creative pillow talk is isolated and subverted through ironic usage.
Some of his most notable memes are "Yes King" and "You Don't Deserve My Nut," among many others.
What Is Thugposting?
Thugposting is a genre of ironic memes that involves the repurposing and subversion of explicit content created by gay Black men. The trend spawned out of Hood Irony, which similarly mutates African-American culture.
The Thugposting community, known as Thugposters, is quite controversial. At its core, the genre is inherently racist as it plays on the hypermasculine stereotype of Black men by portraying them as queer. In this, emasculation is equated to being homosexual, making Thugposting both racist and homophobic.
Some of the most viral Thugposting memes are Animan Studios, Thug Shaker and Ambatukam, all of which have gained mainstream acclaim. The latter centers on another gay OF creator named Dreamybull who's the logical predecessor to LoveAndLightTv.
