Who Is BigKlit?
BigKlit's identity and history are mostly shrouded in mystery since she burst onto the rap scene in NYC in 2019, seemingly with no artistic past to speak of. But after her rise to fame, many millennials saw her as a familiar face, albeit under a new name. MySpace generation adults might remember BigKlit as her real name, Indigo Ford, or even "Indigo Vanity," which was a moniker she took on during her viral jerking days around 2010. Indigo used to be famous for her dance moves and her music, a lot of which is still archived on YouTube today.
What Is BigKlit Famous For Now?
BigKlit's first brush with fame under her new name came with the release of her song "Liar" in 2019, which was produced by Full Tac and skyrocketed to TikTok fame soon after release. People were drawn to her aggressive and confident style, and her lyrics were shocking enough to become the perfect prank fodder.

But not everyone is a huge fan of her style of music. Two years after the release of Liar, a video of her performing it began to make the rounds on Twitter. The verdict among many users was "I'm too old for whatever this is," despite the fact that BigKlit is closer to 30 years of age than people appear to think she is.
