Last Friday, CNN editor and noted foot guy Chris Cillizza made a video in which he attempted to make the argument that memes will influence the 2020 election. The video is… not good.

It's as though he discovered memes simultaneously yesterday and seven years ago. He literally opens the video saying "memes" should be pronounced Maymays. He then runs down some of 2012's hottest memes, and saying of Doge, the KYM meme of the decade, "That one's pretty weird. It's just a dog." If you can stomach it, try to watch it without cringing.

After seeing the video, we decided to punch up Cillizza's script with some more current memes.
