Collection of reactions to Justin Timberlake saying 24/7 parenting is not human

Internet Is Not Having Justin Timberlake's Complaint That 24/7 Parenting Is "Not Human"

Just days after Ellen Degeneres received criticism for comparing her quarantine-life to prison, yet another celebrity has joined the parade of famous people offering opinions about the difficulties of social distancing nobody wants to hear.

This time, the offending celebrity is yesteryear's prince of pop Justin Timberlake, who last week told Sirius XM's "The Morning Mashup" that he and wife Jessica Biel were spending their quarantine "mostly commiserating over the fact that…24-hour parenting is not human." The couple has a 5-year old son, Silas.

While there's certainly no doubt that times are particularly hard for parents who either have to juggle working from home with raising their children or parent while not knowing where their next paycheck is coming from, the internet was not sympathetic to the mutli-millionaire couple being forced to spend time with their child in their remote Montana second home.

To be fair, Timberlake did say he felt extremely lucky to be able to bring his family to a remote location and parenting is a difficult job, no matter how much money one has, and some were sympathetic to his statement.

While it seems there's some split on whether Timberlake's comment was actually problematic or not, it remains an awful time for celebrities to be making what looks like petty complaints in the face of a global crisis.
