Senator Mark Warner's Tuna Melt Is An Abomination Before God And Man
When you think of sad men cooking pathetic food in their kitchen, the image you're probably conjuring is Steve Reed of Weber Cooks creating a very sad chili and cheese nachos dish.
However, that may soon change with Virginia Senator Mark Warner's brutal preparation of what can only generously be called a tuna melt. Warner posted the video of his "soon-to-be world-famous" tuna melt last Monday and it's like watching a train wreck happen in slow motion.
To his credit, Warner's video appears to be tongue-in-cheek, and there are several moments where Warner figuratively winks to the camera in acknowledgment that he is a pretty bad cook. Still, the way he absolutely drowns his bread in mayonnaise, simply puts plain slices of medium cheddar cheese (he calls himself a "Two Slice Man"), and nukes the whole thing in the microwave is simply sinful.
Onlookers were simply agog at Warner's culinary catastrophe.

Even some of his current and former corworkers couldn't resist dunking on him.
Folks these tragic videos are not from Russian bots. They are real. So please, internet make the #TunaMeltGate crisis stop. RT my friend @markwarner and help support our Paycheck Security Program! https://t.co/ABeSSsCbGy

Kamala Harris, in particular, took it upon herself to better the Senator and actually taught him how to cook a tuna melt on Instagram live.

While the sandwich is objectively shameful, it's lunchtime at the time of writing, and frankly, a tuna sandwich would hit the spot right now.
