A shocking video of a woman using a racist slur on the New York City subway is going viral and some people are calling her the Subway Queen.

The dramatic video has inspired a flurry of memes, reactions and edits since it went viral on X / Twitter, including a lot of comparisons to the infamous JetBlue Burger King video.

The so-called Subway Queen video went viral on X, gaining over 12 million views, when it was reuploaded by user @thedevrrrrrrr on February 8th, 2026.

At the start of the video, a Black woman, accompanied by her friends, is seen yelling at a white woman with curls on the NYC subway. It is unclear why they are yelling at her, or what started the altercation.

The subway comes to a stop and the white woman exits into the station as the Black woman continues to curse at her. Just before the subway door closes, the white woman, now deemed the Subway Queen, leans forward and says the n-word.

Shocked, the women on the subway rush the door to try and pry it open, but it's too late.

How Is Social Media Reacting To The 'Subway Queen?'

On X, the woman who used the slur is being celebrated by trolls and people who see nothing wrong with what she said. They have deemed her the "Subway Queen," a reference to another viral video of a man on a plane in a Burger King crown spouting racist slurs.

The video has inspired a lot of memes, including AI images depicting her as a queen and placing a Subway crown on her head.

Now, a social media user named Sydney Claire Goins is embracing the video after some online sleuths identified her as the alleged Subway Queen. Old photos and videos of her have resurfaced and are going viral as she posts content relating to the incident, in which she gladly celebrates her virality and status as a racist queen.
