This thread is for various announcements that wouldn't otherwise get a thread, so users are more easily able keep up with things. For example, a gallery locking would be announced here, along with reasons for its closure.

For now, a relatively small announcement – the NSFW guidelines have been slightly clarified. A * was added after "bare buttocks" with a statement following another * at the very bottom of the NC section which clarifies its relation to animals and anthropomorphic creatures.

Fur on creatures that normally have fur counts as clothing. Thus, a furry not wearing clothes is not NC unless genitalia, anuses, and/or female nipples are visible.

Feel free to ask any questions relating to any announcements made in this thread.

By this logic, does that mean naked slime girls are also not NC?

@Cecaelia Yes, presuming of course they don't have something like nipples or genitalia. However, I can't see your image. It appears to be broken.

A source field got added to the image upload area, thanks James.

Remember to have the artist's name/site in the bar that says "Source Name" instead of just "source".
For the Source URL, just paste in the URL by itself.

The media metadata guidelines have been updated to account for the new source field. Please have a general knowledge of them if you plan to upload images.

The rules page has been updated to account for the source field.

Everyone asked for it and James delivered. The fields for AIM/GTalk/iChat finally got replaced by more relevant stuff that people actually use!

Appears at the bottom of the profile editing page and has the following fields:

• Instagram
• Reddit
• Steam
• Tumblr
• Twitter
• YouTube

As it says, type in your username as it would appear on the site. When/if you do fill it out, a clickable button will appear right below your avatar on your profile like below:
