This is now an internet music-sharing thread

because ya'll posted mashups and shit and that's my thing

first of all, here's an incredible cover. If you listen to the original song first and then this, it is pretty much the exact same quality, and I even like it better

and here's one of my favorite obscure mashups floating online, at least compared to the million view hits. http://botanicsage.tumblr.com/post/61535367270/be-sure-to-download-the-mp3-it-has-the-intro-i

you shouldn't listen to the tumblr compressed version, just dl the mp3. i wish i could link the youtube vid instead but it got muted ages ago.

oh and, if you've never listened to any mashup before, this one is ace.

this is good too, and also the last thing imma link in this thread since I can go all day

siivagunner is a sign of good taste

we might as well get into ytpmv and soundclown territory, it's all essentially the same culture. here's another classic

In the anime film, Your Name (aka: Kimi no Na-Wa), theres a scene where the male Protagonist, Taki, drinks some Sake hidden away by the female Protagonist, Mitsuha, in an enclave, in order to reach her through time after she was confirmed to be dead in the present time. However… Earlier, we are shown that the Sake Taki drank was, ahem, "Traditionally made".

You see, in ancient Japan, it was necessary that Sake be produced by virgin girls.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuchikamizake

What they would do was take some rice, chew it, then spit it back out into a container, and leave it some place to ferment.
So, with Taki having to drink the Sake in order to reconnect with Mitsuha, that would mean that…

…Her drool is their bond.

Kimi no Na-Wa, you sun'uvaBITCH!
