If it was a 4chan raid, we need dogs and curtains.

It wasn't very massive. It was one guy who managed to catch us when our banhammers were broken. But they're fixed now.

Here's how it plays out.

On Wednesday we realize there is a minor flaw with deactivating users.

Nothing bad happens so it doesn't get fixed.

Then this morning, a user name "TOM_GREEN" starts spamming Jamie Dubs gay porn in threads.

Why? Beats me. He (she?) did post in this VERY thread that KYM is full of "newfags" which makes gay porn appropriate.

Anyways, that earlier flaw has gotten worse so we can't ban him. Me and Chris where stuck with the uphill battle of deleting his posts.

As much of a pain that it was, I gotta hand it to TOM_GREEN, he's determined.

Anyways, things are going fine until some one by the name of "Radnsmash" joined in and did a way better job of spamming then TOM_GREEN.

There was at least 10 pages of Jamie Dubs spam.

I didn't check but I guess the made variations of the spam.

Throwing moustaches on and such.

Then mabye there were more spammers. I don't know, I had to visit my grandfather.

But Chris manages to get a hold of Andrew Baron who gets a hold of Jamie and then The purge begins.

During that purge we lost some of the more recent threads.

Maybe tonight I'll work on a bel-air version of these happenings.

Even if I don't approve this spam behavior, I must admit I understand their point…
Educating "newfags" isn't without risks because this site can easily be a target for anonymous' wrath.

Actually, I've seen some talk of raids on KYM. None of them ever got off the ground because the threads were saged and trolled to death. I guess the person who proposed them just did it himself. Anonymous doesn't seem all that interested in raiding innocent sites.

Also, sites like this and ED are good. They give newfags a crash course in *chan culture beforehand, so they know what to do. E.g., less forced memes, cancerous threads, and PA requests.

Why anyone would want to raid this site is beyond me….

Its obvious! KYM ED page says so.

I would've thought that there's a bunch of reasons to raid KYM. Think of all the valuable information within these walls (or discs,) that could be used against 4chan…
Then again, there's plenty here that could help stem the cancer that's been plaguing /b/ in recent times. Imagine the majority of newfaggotry erased… just because of one site.

The power to heal and destroy… all held in one easy 16-character address. Much care we must use, when dealing with delicate situations such as these.
