Looks like I was able to get into a Synchtube room and actually see the videos, so I went ahead and set up a room. I'll link to it at about 7pm Eastern. So even if I can watch it with you due to buffering or something, I can at least set it up.

Here are the episodes I have in the cue right now:

  • Spike at Your Service
  • May the Best Pet Win!
  • Hurricane Fluttershy
  • Green Isn't Your Color
  • Griffon the Brush-Off

If you have any requests or don't want to see one of those episodes, then let me know.

Luna Protege wrote:

Oh please, this show is the opposite of Devil May Cry, so that means the Final Boss is Dante!

So that makes Twilight Nero.

Gamer Luna, what's your thoughts on the upcoming DmC reboot?

If you're reading this, pay attention.

Now that you're paying attention, I have a request to make of the Pony General. Who here can do a decent Shining Armor voice for a project I'm working on? It will involve singing, though I'd prefer you to be a bad singer, but I'd like for the voice to be close enough. If you aren't afraid to share your voice to the world, hit me up.

There will be bitches, if you go out and find your own bitches. If you don't, there will be no bitches.

Warning: project will involve late nights of work, lost sleep, social ineptitude, a desire to throw your computer out a window, burning rage against traditional animation styles and inconsistant dietary habits. For me. All you have to do is sing into a microphone a few times until it sounds good.

What up, bitches? I've been lurking for a while.

@EVO:

I think the topic was beaten to death. I'm just going to say that if the game is done enough by then, and it gets enough votes, more power to them. It's not like it's the main game being voted for.

@Twilight Alicorn:

The big picture thing in the background of that photoshoot was A) from a photoshoot totally unrelated to MLP and B) from Europe. The same place that produced those god awful comics with Scootaloo as Terry, Fluttershy as a male, Applejack as not a member of the Mane Six, and Twilight as Celestia's daughter.

As for toys… well… we have Pinklestia, cars, and other shit. Take toys with a grain of salt.

I doubt we'll get Twilicorn, because it'd be a massive turning point for the entire show that would throw so much shit out of whack if it wasn't pulled off exactly perfectly. Not to mention we don't even know if it'd be possible given the way the show works now.

@Spoilers n shit:

Not watching them. Because I have willpower.

And Wisdom.

And high Intellect.

Fucking Wizards, man. Best primary stats ever.

@Applejack thread:

Ha, that's cute. But, seeing as how this page is, so far, unclaimed.

I claim this mass of text and pixels in the name of our glorious exterminator!

ALL HAIL QUEEN RAAAAAAAAAAAARITY!

@Princess Platinum being Sombra's Daughter:

While I think the idea is cute and it might be pretty neat, not sure how much it'd work out.

Although if it means the return of Sombra…

Now this I can get behind.

@Exudes:

If you can't find any other takers (and I mean absolutely nobody else), I could attempt it.

Rar-ity? What's that? It sounds like something that might have had an episode back in 2011 but….I don't know.

Now, I finally found my OTP. This one is perfect

Don't know what I'd call the pair though…

PS When do you think we'll fill this thread? Maybe by the time Star Wars Episode 7 comes out so we won't have to be creative with the title?
Pic related

Because ponies are always related man I had to go on derpibooru to find this….yep they already have Leo Pony porn, I wasn't prepared for that that's for sure.

Looks like Fighting is Magic is out of the EVO game ranks

At this time, Fighting is Magic is ahead by a little over $2100.00. The EVO tournament dropped them though, and 2nd place (if FiM wins) gets to be in the tournament. First place winner will get a $1000 bonus to the tournament winnings if they beat FiM. If FiM wins, there will be $1000 of game prizes at their indie games expo tournament.

@Crazy☾

MLP, Fighting is Magic is in a unique situation. The game has no official release date, and it’s not clear if the game will be ready in time for players to get up to speed in time for Evo 2013. For the Mane6 team, this contest represents and artificial deadline. We don’t want to put any un(due) pressure on them to release anything but their best effort when it’s ready. So, AFTER TALKING TO THE MANE6 GUYS, we’ve decided to handle FiM slightly differently.

I only posted this to be humorously smug, as our discussion was merely intellectual masturbation with no end result. But it also helps to tell chowzburgerz who Princess Platinum is.

Now, this isn't completely relevant to our discussion here, but EVO had the one of the concerns I did. It wouldn't be able to have a decent tournament pool by the time of the event. It also seems that they talked to Mane6, so unless Mane6 was contacted with no intention to hear them out, then Mane6 at least passively agreed to this set up. (Mane6 has acknowledged the update on their website.)

And it would be a little shortsighted, if not a little underhanded, if this is the case, but they might have arranged this ahead of time in case bronies decided to "do what they do." The plan may have been that they get a lot of funding from bronies with no original intentions of having it as one of the 8 premiere games.

But since that money is going to breast cancer research, then that makes it better.

The plan for if FiM still wins is still suitable in my opinion:

If FiM finishes with the most money donated, we will take the game with the second highest donations as the 8th Evo game. But, should FiM win the donation drive, Evo will sponsor an exhibition tournament and run it out of the Indie Gaming Showcase. The top 8 players from the exhibition will fight it out on stage and stream, like previous Evo exhibitions.

So that shows off the game, complete or incomplete, without amping up a tournament that may have a weak competitive turnout. It also is stated to have multiple areas where people can play FiM regardless of the donation outcome.

Also, Melee is comfortably in second place by $600.

Again, only humorously smug.

I saw that they had talked to them, but I wanted to keep it concise. I can be wordy, and I try my best to not bore people with three paragraphs based on four sentences (I can, and have, done this in the past).

I just hope it all goes over well. I kept out of it some on the forums, but I was worried about some of the backlash if Fighting is Magic won. A lot of people think bronies stick ponies into everything, and this certainly wouldn't have helped on that front.

Who is Princess Platinum?
One gorgeous unicorn, that's who.

As far as the intellectual masturbation:
Wasn't Hearts Warming Eve set BEFORE Celestia/Luna's dominance? When unicorns controlled the Sun and Moon? If that's so, it occurred long before King Sombra. I can't see Princess Platinum as his daughter.

Glad that Melee might win. Call it a party game all you want, lay down some ground rules and it can be a fun tournament.

Wasn’t Hearts Warming Eve set BEFORE Celestia/Luna’s dominance? When unicorns controlled the Sun and Moon? If that’s so, it occurred long before King Sombra. I can’t see Princess Platinum as his daughter.

I consider the "Ancient Events" to have happened in rapid Succession. On a specific timeline.

First the known leaders ran off to found Equestria. That is the earliest point we have.
Second Celestia and Luna show up. No Elements Yet.
They Defeat Sombra, without the Elements. (Did You see them use the elements in the flash back? I Didn't!)
Discord shows up.
Celestia and Luna Discover the Elements.
Defeat of Discord.
Luna goes Nuts.

Now if that Timeline is Right, and the events are as close together as I think they are due to the evidence of Star-swirl the bearded being alive both before the founding of Equestria and up to the defeat of Discord. Then it makes perfect sense that Both Princess Platinum and her Father the Unicorn King could even have still been Alive by the time Celestia and Luna Showed up. As Not Even One Elderly Pony Had Died Yet!

Oh, and if you doubt my claim of Star-Swirl being Alive at those times; The fact is, he was mentioned in the Hearth's warming Story by Clover the Clever first of all, and Second, I'm Going to have to put a spoiler on this next bit of information because:

Discord is actually Star-Swirl The Bearded! And assuming he was only long lived because he became discord, or even because he was turned to stone. Then As you can see clearly already detailed above, not even a single lifetime had passed between Equestria's founding and all the other major events of "A thousand years ago"!

At this point, I'm beginning to think all these mentions of the phrase "A thousand Years ago" means that Literally, all these thousand Year ago events took place over the span of a single year or two! All of them! Heck, I'd be willing to bet that "One Thousand Years ago" is actually the exact amount of years ago all these events were… Each and every time!

Edit:

Now that I've finished one Theory, Here's another I want to pose the possibility of… But seems to have full room to move.

We haven't figured out how Pony Maturation and Growth works yet, some Ponies are tall and or long, others large, some appear to be the same size as the main six when Adult, and then there's Alicorns.

That does raise a question. What if "Adulthood" and "Fully Grown" don't necessarily seem to be the same thing? What if some sections of ponies continue growing well past adulthood?

And What about Alicorns? Considering Twilight might become an Alicorn, Emphasis on MIGHT! Then one does begin to wonder, after all, "Filly Cadence" did look to be just a little bigger than a regular pony. Making me wonder if there would be like a second growth Phase that continues on from pony, accounting for a fully grown Alicorn's Size.

Of course, Alicorn Maturity is pretty strange in itself. As Luna seems to go forward and back as her strength wanes. And since some have pondered the significance of a thousand years disappeared Crystal Pony Saying "The Crystal Princess has returned", when Cadence was a filly when We saw her in flashback. It could suggest Cyclic Maturation Cycles From Full grown to young and back. But then again That explains jack all about how Cadence knows jack all about her kingdom. Unless you take into account that she may have genuinely been a filly when it disappeared and knew jack all, but came to defend it cause she remembered being there at least. Who knows?

@ZeroBlue4's spoiler:

That goes against all I believe!

@Alicorn theory: I always believed that alicorns reach the "maturity" at normal adult age for a pony (let's say 20, just to compare to humans). However, they don't need necessarily to stop growing. The human nose and ears grow for the lifetime. Taking that as an example, Alicorns might grow until that big size, around 50-70 years.

I always wondered where the hell the Elements of Harmony came from. Pony gods? Aliens? Just the Magic (of friendship)? Celestia and Luna made them? Who knows?

It's funny how I can still provoke that reaction in people. Even when Several People have already made that exact same spoiler. And yet Somehow, I am never surprised by the same information…

Squee!

And yet… I'm utterly bamboozled by much more simple Spoilers Such as Episode 12's Synopsis…

My mind could wrap around the possibilities of every other Synopsis I've been given; to the point I've never been surprised. But somehow THIS not only Surprises me but also makes me UNABLE TO PREDICT THE PLOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM WHEN I COULD FOR EVERY OTHER EPISODE?!

It's Madness!

But, You're Not interested in that, So back to your surprise… There were Numerous Hints to the spoiler you're surprised by. And although their Sources are lost many Pages Back, The point remains the same.

A bunch of scripts of John Delancie (Voice of Discord) were leaked that Included such Wonderful tid-bits as Reference to Starswirl's Amnio-Morphic Spell. Which He corrects as OMNI-O-Morphic. As well as lines referring to how the character he was voicing was not terribly pleased "To be a pony again".

Ah! Here they are!

"Being a pony again wasn't exactly what I had in mind, I would hardly call this a better alternative than being turned to stone."
"For goodness sake, it's OMNI-omorphic, not AMNI-omorphic! Forgive me if I expected somepony who lives in a library to know the difference between A and O."
"Personally I think it's flattering that you like to dress like me." (pressumably to Twilight, Who Dressed as Starswirl)
"I couldn't decide so I just chose a bit of everything, and wasn't it just beautiful? sigh Oh don't give me that look, like you've never gotten carried away with a little magic miss Twilight Sparkle."
"Is that frog… an… orange? OHH! HOHOHO! And here I was under the impression that you didn't like a little creative chaos!"
"On the contrary, I used to be quite stolid, then I got the beard."
"Oh you'd be surprised my dear, if things went my way beggars COULD be choosers. That was a fun year, it only lasted an hour."
"You're thinking about this too logically. In order for a spell like this to work you need to bid farewell and adieu to all those pesky little voices in your head that are trying to make sense of everything. See? Pinkie's got the right idea."
"As entertaining as it was seeing you so desperately and hopelessly trying to make sense of nonsense, it did get a little boring after a while. Forgive me if I've retained some of my old habits."
"I was just started talking with this mare here, doesn't she have the most lovely eyes? Ah-Ah-Ah! Don't say anything my dear, let's not ruin the moment."

Link to current source who may have better source

Also, Anyone interested in the fact that STARSWIRL BASICALLY INVENTED TIME TRAVEL?!

Don't give me that look, that's not a spoiler, it's a fact from an episode we've already watched "It's about time" if I recall.

But more Importantly:

Since Discord is Starswirl, and Starswirl Invented Time Travel, just what kind of insanity do you think he might have gotten up to with something like that? It's a dangerous Combination!

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Hey, I've got a question for all of you, particularly you shippers. How would you react if they released an episode where one of the mane six entered into a canon romance?

Personally, I would be bugged, but not because I'd be irritated that they shattered my shipping fantasies or whatever (MY OTP, RD x RD, is quite well supported in the show thank you very much.) I just don't think they could pull it off without hurting the tone of the show.

Now what I think about this Discord thing…

I like the idea of Discord bein' corrupted Starswirl. I think he used to be good and all, and wanted to help the kingdom / princedom / whatever by studyin' magic. He went so deep in his studies, that the magic started corruptin' him, turnin' him insane and eventually turnin' into a twisted abomination of his former self. What goodnes remained of him was sealed in the Elements, and then he started his Reign of Chaos YEEAAAHHH!!!. Eventually Celestia and Luna turned him into stone, but did not destroy him. Over that time, he wispered to Luna's mind, eventually corruptin' her and turnin' evil, which forced Celestia to banish her.
This'd also explain why Celestia imprisoned Discord instead of destroyin' him – she either was not powerful enough to do so or she didn't want to destroy her former friend and hoped to turn him good someday.

Yea, Warcraft lore fuels my thinkin'…

Dammit, I had to edit this post like a hundred times to figure out this spoilerin' thing… Goddangit.

  • Pre-classical era.
  • Founding of Equestria.
  • Rise of Crystal Empire/Sombra reign.
  • Rise of Discord (Poss 1)
    • If Star Swirl IS Discord, this could have been from a vain attempt at immortality/time travel.
  • Arrival/Birth of of Celestia and Luna.
  • Celestia/Luna start to purge what they consider evil.
  • Sombra's defeat.
  • Rise of Discord (Poss 2)
    • Star Swirl tried to retake control of the Sun and Moon. Succeeded at the cost of his equinity and sanity.
  • Discord's "eternal state of unrest" in Equestria.
  • Celestia/Luna find elements/confront Discord.
  • Peaceful era.
  • Nightmare Moon incident.

Discord makes a mess of the timeline. If it really were an "eternal state of unrest", then this could have gone on for months/years/decades/centuries before Celestia and Luna managed to stand up to him. He may have been a later event, or could have been Star Swirl on a misguided attempt at becoming more than what he was. Personal headcanon says Star Swirl was extremely vain, and may have felt threatened by Celestia/Luna's arrival. It's obvious they took over maneuvering the Sun and Moon from the unicorns. Perhaps he tried to retake control and ended up going insane?

When breaking the laws of reality, time doesn't become an issue (especially to one who has already looked into time-travel). If Discord forced a bubble of sped-up time around Equestria, it wouldn't interfere with the thousand year exile of the crystal ponies.

Or it could be that the writer's just decided to say, "Haha! What timeline!?"

Discord is Starswirl?
What a Tw-

Okay, sorry…
Bad pun.

Anywho…
People have been talking about that idea for quite a while now and I do agree that it would be pretty damn cool if it ends up being true.
I can't bring myself to fully believe it seeing as how it's just coming from some anonymous guy on the internet, but the lines are pretty well written and the concept is great.
We shall see in just 5 days!

@Fifths
Same boat as you.
Couldn't care less about 'preserving a particular ship' or anything, but trying to incorporate it would probably end up messing with the show in a weird way.
Shipping is best left to the internet where it is free to be hilarious.

(Yes, Rumbloo is cute even if it was created because Rumble is the only pegasus colt in the show. Don't care.)

Can't remember if I posted this before, but it's still funny:

@ "canon ships"
I doubt that they will really explore it much (possible exception being Spike and Rarity). I'm not going to say that it would be inherently good or bad if they did, but I know other people would likely get upset. I know that even a suggestion of a same gender ship in show (i.e., stronger than Lyra and Bon-Bon showing up on the screen together multiple times) will likely cause many people/ parents to get upset for the obvious reasons… I think DeadParrot's idea of leaving this stuff on the internet might be the best idea.

Argh I think I should start complaining about spoilers from time to time randomly. Just to remind some guys to use them, as soon as new spoilery material pops up.

@EVO
I am totally okay with that, giving the mane6 the time they need and streaming the finals of the pony tournament is a good idea. Nonetheless something feels icky here, perhaps they included FiM just to drive donations, for the game and against it as well. That 1000 dollar extra bit is kind of strange too. Right now they are at roughly 8k, it's possible that their goal are 5 digits. Perhaps they have to boost it now a bit, as donations are going in slower.

@Verbose
Yeah, yeah humourously smug

Thou canst not fool me;)

@All
Take a look at this:

This comic is from 2002, it's now more than 10 years old and still up to date.

And now I know how ponies would look, if the show would really try to cater to bronies. Like a mixture of cupcakes, the .mov series and rainbow factory.

@Whitish
"The Russians have stolen your cutie marks! What will you do?"

"Crusaders? Let's go crusading…"

And just to combine this with our previous topic in the most nonsensical way possible (and just because I can):

No idea why this exists but it makes me laugh.

@ Pony Black Ops/dat comic
Now, this may not be Black Ops, but there are a few pony references in Borderlands 2. Hmmm…. I wonder how the writers of that comic feel about it now (if they even remember it). Heck, there actually are FiM comics out there now! It's a little eerie how everything they said couldn't be done has now been done…

@ Shipping
Ya, I highly doubt any sort of canon shipping will ever happen. I mean, maybe for one episode just as a plot device, but nothing more than that. Of course, that sort of thing has already been done in Hearts and Hooves Day, so we probably won't see anything more any time soon. Besides, major developments like that are usually constrained within a single episode, so it would be a little weird to have some sort of lasting romance going on.

Speaking of things constrained within a single episode, what ever happened to that phoenix chick that Spike abducted adopted? He just seemed to disappear.

Last edited Jan 14, 2013 at 04:07PM EST

Yeah, I really doubt any true shipping is going to happen. We haven't even see as much SpikexRarity this season.

Speaking of things constrained within a single episodes, what ever happened to that phoenix chick that Spike abducted adopted? He just seemed to disappear.

Twilight's Rule #341: Spike doesn't get anymore pets until he can remember to feed them.

One small correction: Those 1000$ don't go into the donation. They are added to the pot of the matching tournament. This means that there will be a prize money for the pony tournament, if fighting is magic wins the donations.

And a new bigger statement from the mane6: here!

"Unfortunately, (and meaning no offense), the EVO team worded it a bit confusedly, and has gotten some people unsure on what exactly happened."

Yeah I know…

I definitely think so. The writing and art is fantastic, and all the jokes are hilarious. My only complaint is that Pinkie doesn't feel the same as in the show.

Speaking of games, I present an episode of GAMER LUNA REVIEWS.

Today's game is DmC: Devil May Cry.

Now when the first trailer came out, Gamer Luna was not pleased that Capcom and Ninja Theory changed the direction of the game and the appearance of Dante. She really loved Devil May Cry 1-4 (with the exception of 2). As the trailers and info progressed, Gamer Luna began gaining her interest and tried to give DmC a shot.

Graphics: The graphics of DmC is superb and worthy of Canterlot art. Ninja Theory has improved the art style of this game and the level design is unique as the game takes you to a demon infested carnival, a underwater prison, and even a lighted-up dance club.

Gameplay: The gameplay Gamer Luna loved in previous DMC games is back and better. Gamer Luna enjoyed the wide variety of melee weapons. There are three types of weapons, normal (rebellion), angel (osiris and aquila), and demon (arbiter and eryx) along with three guns, ebony & ivory, revenant (a shotgun), and klabooey (a rocket launcher). Dante can also use an angelic whip called the ophion to either pull himself to a demon or a pull a demon towards him which can be used for some massive combos and damage. Unfortunately, in later stages and difficulty, you will encounter enemies that can only be killed by certain weapons which can be frustrating. Not to mention, unlike other DMC games, this game has no lock-on.

Story: The story seemed interesting at first. Dante is a nephilim which is half-demon and half-angel. In the original DMC games, Dante's mother was a human instead of an angel. He is being hunted down by demons led by the evil demonic tyrant Mundus. Dante's twin brother, Vergil appears in the game as the leader of a human rebel group called The Order. Dante also gets help from another Order member named Kat who is a medium that can contact Dante while he is in Limbo. However, the story falls flat near the end of the game as many plotholes and contradictions emerges throughout the story. The worst part that Gamer Luna has with the game is the dialogue. It's like the Cutie Mark Crusaders were asked to write the script for the game.

Verdict: This game is not as bad as fans like Gamer Luna would have expected it to be. The game has great art and graphics, and good gameplay, but the story and the acting hurts this game. If Gamer Luna would have placed the new DmC game, then it would be placed in 3rd. Gamer Luna gives DmC: Devil May Cry a 4/5.

I think I know where at least some of that money will go to, then. I think.. I think it's been nearly ten years since I bought and read a print comic. That's going to feel so weird.

How do you mean Pinkie feels different? Are there less antics? Is she less bubbly/more stiff? It could be that Cook and Nuhfer don't have a lot of experience with her character, so they don't explore her personality as much.

She seems a bit more out of touch with reality in the comics, she can be pretty extremely creepy at times too. Like when she uses some pony's skull she found in a cave as a puppet. Or when she does this:

(No she didn't actually say that)

@gigatoast

I'm actually kind of disappointed seeing that – it sounds like they based her characterization more off of fan interpretations of pinkamena than the actual pinkie. But I haven't extensively read the comics yet. I imagine she's not or won't be like that the whole way through, right?

…

right!?

Also, Something I forgot to include in my humanized dump the other day – I think mayor mare humanizations specifically deserve a mention as well because even the less flashy ones often grab my attention.

It's gotta be them faces.

@Exudes
RDP just keeps getting better and better!
(Honestly, I think I prefer their fanfic parodies over their abridged series, mostly because it lets them use their own art to really match the scenes rather than having to reuse show clips.)

"I'M A REBEL! I HAVE NO SCRUPLES!"

Plus:

@Comic
First off, CrazyC?
Yes, you should buy them.
Just a few dollars each and they are full of great art and writing.
I think I giggled just as much as I usually do when I watch a new episode of the show while reading through them.
The style and characterization of Chrysalis alone are worth the price of admission for me.

@Pinkie's character
<div class=spoiler title="Spoilered for image use">

I haven't had a problem with Pinkie at all, actually.
She can be creepy as hell sometimes, though.

I can see why some might say that she's a bit darker, but the comic as a whole is a bit darker than the show anyway.
And Pinkie making friends with a skull just works for me.

Okay, actual words.
I think a lot of Pinkie's 'darkness' comes right out of her personality.
From the beginning, she's treating this like she's in some kind of zombie/adventure movie.
So yeah, she makes zombie faces, she giggles with skulls, and she cracks jokes at inappropriate times.
That's par for the course for Pinkie, really.
I tend to see it more as Pinkie being pretty much the same, just the setting has dramatically shifted around her.

In that vein:

Jesus, that got dark(er) in a hurry.
Anybody who wanted villains with a bit more menace, there you go.
God, I love this series!

Let this forever be known as the day Lauren Faust went crazy!
First this, which could never end well on the internet:

Followed by regret:

Followed by "F$*@ it, I'm going all in!":

(Because this is so hilariously insane, I must post a link to prove that is, in fact, real: Twitter)

Ms. Faust, I don't know what came over you today but

Never change!

Quoting myself to continue the epic saga

So Faust continued her descent into Twitter-insanity the other day.
I think it's best to just let her posts speak for themselves.

So yeah…
Lauren lost her mind.
I think there is only one solution:

Luckily, she was kind enough to lose her mind in the most hilariously entertaining way possible!
(God, I can't stop laughing at this!)

@Fifths
Nice!
Stating the obvious here, but I really like that composition and you recreated it perfectly!
(The quicker parts in the middle and the at the end do sound really awkward when not paired with the images though.)

This is me officially giving up on try to remember how to do buttons. Skip below the line if you don't want spoilers.

Remember that leak from a while back about Discord being Star Swirl the Bearded?

It mentioned something about Derpy, her eyes, and about telling her to not say anything because it would ruin the moment. If this is what she's talking about, then yes, the internet would explode.

RM tip of the day:

<div class="spoiler" title="herpaderp">Texttextext (with enter if you want to avoid small text).</div>

@RandomMan
I'm liking this one.

It was nice to see Lauren be a little inappropriate for a while. She's not always super professional, but I like seeing her a bit crude at times.

Hey everyone, this has nothing to do with anything, but…

<img src = "https://i.chzbgr.com/maxW500/6974931712/hE26D25C9/">

As a Magic the Gathering player, this is relevant to my interests. When I saw this, the first thing I did was make sure that was a real card. It is. Not a bad one either, actually.

And boom another stake through Lauren Faust's heart! Man 4chan is going to have a fanpanderemic when they hear about this.
I can easily see Derpy winning though, I would like that as it would be a giant FUCK YOU to the people who complained about Derpy being offensive. But if we're being realistic it'll probably go like this.
Hasbro Exec: Okay everyone, the contest is over. Who becomes the next main character?
looks down and sees Derpy won, he throws the results in the trash
Hasbro Exec: Looks like Octavia is the winner!

Not that this is actually real, it's a hypothetical situation. Still, I'd legitimately rather see a character like Octavia become a main.

Also, double posting is frowned upon, please edit your first post if you have something else to say.

@Iamslow about humanizations, waaay up:

Whoa, Aloe and Lotus there… Those really do seem like how they'd look human. Respect to whoever the artist is.
