Facebook just recently locked my account down and I have 15 days to provide my ID.
Have I done something wrong? Was I hacked? Summer Wars IRL?
Really nervous about it, m8…

An alias in one thing, however I'm talking about something like a username, of some sort. Something that clearly isn't a name of a person.

Yep. Here's a link to an article about this.
The people getting hit the hardest are pornstars, drag queens, and transgender folk. I guess you could also consider it as yet another attempt to remove whatever privacy is left on facebook.

My account does use my real name and all the info i put in it is real, so i dont see the point on putting my ID for no reason in the name of security. And if i dont do it in time, its then called losing years worth of story down the drain.

Does this mean Suddenly Jesus is gonna die? DDDDD:
Also, I didn't know Facebook had any privacy to begin with. Now that I know there was still a sliver left and they're now trying to crush it is depressing.
Also, how would they find out what are aliases and what aren't? Would they really go through all the trouble of going through courts and shit to find legal names?
