Ebin dank maymays have come to us from every corner of the globe, but which countries memes are best?

I say it's hard to top Finland, with their surreal memes such as Dolan and Spürdo Spärde, but what do you guys think?

Most of my favorite memes are from Japan.

Depends on the type of meme.

Russia seems to be a strong contender.

What country gave us Expand Dong? It’s that one.

Not sure on who made the first picture, but considering Donkey Kong was created in Japan, but Donkey Kong 64 was made by Rare over in the UK, either is responsible. And to dig deeper into it's ever expanding popularity the animated series was animated in France for an American audience. So what we're dealing with here is a Japanese, British, French, and American developed meme.

I, for one, vote for Finland, our friends.

But to be honest, a lot of countries are quite underrepresented here, and it won't get better as long as moderators checking entries won't be international.

For a very long time Japan has been the source of most of my favorite memes. However, it seems Meme production has either slowed down or stopped becoming noteable enough to make the jump over the ocean.
