We used to have a KYM app years back, but it lost support shortly after. I doubt we'll get another official app anytime soon.
KYM GO When?
I don't know if KYM actually needs a mobile app. If the website has a decent mobile version you can kinda do everything the app would do just fine by going to your web browser on your phone and opening up KYM there.
I hope not. Sites that get official apps usually bug you like crazy to download the app and then offer decreased features on mobile. I already can't stand the mobile site which won't let you get to the forums without typing in the url.

If you log into your account you get the browser version.
A large majority of our daily visitors are mobile users without accounts, so there is no need for them to have access to the forum…
Is probably the logic, but yeah it's kinda annoying (which is why I use auto-login). That's also why the forum has no mobile version.
As for an app: Don't bet on it anytime soon. KYM itself is a small team with 1 coder, and instead of an app they made him focus on the mobile version.

There's a weird thing, though: if you upload an image/video or edit your profile, it goes to a mobile version. And from there you can access the normal "grey bar" menu (where the green meme link sometimes appears) by tapping the square in the top right.
Just a wild guess: it probably means that that guy started working on a mobile version and never finished.
And, of course, if a mobile version somehow gets added, there should probably be a "use desktop version" button at the bottom of the page… or they could just use "request desktop version" from the browser menu… yeah…

There already is a mobile version, the stuff you see when you edit an image/edit your profile/edit an entry is what the "admin area" looks like. Which is different from the mobile version even though they look similar.
Edit: Picture of mobile version:

The mobile version of ANY website usually sucks.
And I don't think we'll ever see an app for KYM again.
If your phone/tablet is fast enough (Snapdragon 800 or greater) (Apple A6 or greater)
its best if you use the desktop version of the site
You might as well get the full experience if your phone/tablet can handle it. I can certainly understand situations where hardware isn't capable enough – I just can't stand mobile versions of sites.
I don't think we will ever get one. With all the talk about the way this site was built, an app may not be feasible.
When this site get actual good programmers and web designers that doesn't keep shitting this site with more ads and actually fix the site's actual problems.
Please stop criticizing my idea.
Many popular websites have a desktop site, a mobile site, and an app. They have almost the same features, although the mobile sites and apps lack certain features. Mobile sites and apps are slowly getting better. So if Know Your Meme improves its mobile site, hope for a good app is present.

We're not criticizing it if we give an objective analysis of what you should expect. And criticism is something one should expect as well for these ideas, so we're not going to disallow that because someone can't handle it.
Hope is there, but focus lies with improving the mobile version and not creating an app (yet). So don't expect much on the short term regardless of how good you believe your idea is; because KYM simply doesn't have the resouces atm.
Well, the site can be very cumbersome to navigate on mobiles so I support having an official app.
