I recomend this game. It's fully made of win.

So, is this an RPG, without the RPG?
@marimba Yeah.
I was disturbed by Ubao, but also the 5 armed girl and the ending. Other than that I loved it.
Wow. I played through the entire thing, all the way to the ending, and this has to be the single worst game I've ever played.
Why is everything so cryptic? A certain level of secrecy is fine, but this is WAY overboard.
Why is there no ground to half of the game? This seems like a minor issue, but not when you actually start playing. It makes the game feel boring and slow. Speaking of which.
Why is the pacing so incredibly slow? If it wasn't for the walkthrough, I would never have finished the game because the pace is so slow I would have lost interest.
Why is the atmosphere so creepy and depressing? Seriously. It's a video game. It's supposed to make you feel good, not like you're trapped in one of your childhood nightmares gone horribly wrong.
What is with the ending? That has got to be the worst ending to a video game I've ever seen.
Where is the plot? Seriously. I can't find it.
If you're going to have ridiculously huge maps, at least populate them with items, obstacles, enemies, something. It feels like you're walking through a giant desert most of the time. It's so boring and monotonous that I actually fell asleep on more than one occasion while attempting to navigate the huge gaps between anything that matters in-game.
It's as if someone looked at all the flaws of Milon's Secret Castle and Super Pitfall and made a game specifically to include those flaws. But don't take my word for it, try it yourself. I dare you not to use the walkthrough.
Also, please remember that these are my opinions. If you disagree, that's fine, just remember that everyone has the right to their own opinion, and that I'm merely expressing my own opinion. If you want to express a different opinion, by all means do so. But don't turn it into a flame war.
Well, some people, love the atmosphere of the game.
The game is based on exploartion and random encounters, so it's up to you if you want to find all of the "efects" or just want to explore.
I think there's no plot. The only think you know is that your character is called Madotsuki, and then, you can guess that she's a Hikikomori (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hikikomori). After that, there's fan made plot/storylines.
Sorry for my english. I can't spell shit.
No, you're fine. S-H-I-T is correct. ; )
I watched videos of this game all night. It felt a lot like on old PS1 game I watched a while ago called LSD: dream simulator
I'm thinking there might be some influences here.
-Objects that take you to other places
-Random movies in the game
-Aztec themes
-Scary as I'll get out
After watching yumi niki, I had the freakiest dreams.
Uboa was there.
Wow, I loved LSD.
