During the whole Covid-19 pandemic that's going on at the time of typing this comment, a lot of commercials I'm seeing on TV and online keep using the phrase "we're all in this together." Because I was a high schooler around the time High School Musical was a thing and heard the song "We're All in this Together" a lot thanks to Disney Channel commercials and people at my school who liked to sing the songs (personally I was never into those movies, so I only know some songs from them thanks to those sources), it's gotten to where any time I hear that phrase I just think back to being in high school in 2006 and I can't quite take the phrase so seriously anymore.
And by shear fucking coincidence I just googled the phrase just to double check and make sure I was properly remembering HSM was a 2006 movie, and literally the day I typed out this OP I just found out the cast from that movie did a video where they sang the song over Facetime while in quarantine. Methinks Disney took notice as well.
