Need to know how you can post gifs from Twitter or turn Twitter vids into gifs. Just to reiterate, this is specifically about Twitter.

So I kinda cheat and just record the entire page before cropping it.

It takes a few minutes, but it's the only way I could work out how to do it; as Twitter automatically turns all gifs into videos.

Although now I'm writing this, it has just occurred to me you could just save the videos as MP4s and then go to a site like Ezgif to convert them into .gifs.

Basically, Twitter will turn all gifs into video. You can use some external site to download the video and then use another one to convert it into a gif.
Yes, it's kinda stupid, but shockingly, turns out gifs are much heavier than videos in almost every way.
