The thought of meme of the year for this year crossed my mind the other day

It's Morbius, hands down; nothing could top tricking Sony into bringing back a movie to the theaters only to not watch it for a 2nd time.

The only good thing about this entire year

I'd say it pretty much was the most influential by far, especially with how people began to use many variants of the "morbin' time" joke (even freaking Jared Leto himself got in on that one) and claiming that something will make "[insert name of thing here]illion dollars" (originating from people saying Morbius will "make Morbillion dollars"). Used in both ironic and unironic ways too (ironic: saying Minions: Rise of Gru will "make gruillion dollars", mostly unrionic: saying Klonoa: Phantasy Reverie Series will "make Klomillion dollars").
