Conroy had unfortunately been dealing with cancer for a while, though I think for a lot of us this is probably our first time hearing this news.

This is one VA death that is pretty shocking to me as Conroy was actually the first Batman I knew growing up and his voice was just such a great fit for the character, and I remember being absolutely ecstatic when he returned to the role for Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy.

RIP Kevin Conroy, he'll always be my favorite Batman.

RIP. While I never was a big Batman fan, the voice he gave for the character in the animated series from my childhood is one I'll forever associate with the character.

Here’s some actual good news. It just got confirmed Kevin Conroy did in fact lend his voice to Batman one last time in Rocksteady’s “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.” So even if he’s no longer with us, at least we’ll have one posthumous role to enjoy.
