Zombie Apocalypse Plan

Admit it. You all have a plan in case of a Zombie Apocalypse.

Mine involves driving to the north of Canada, where everyone has guns, the population is sparse, and there is often years worth of food in stock. We can wait till it dies down then recolonize areas where it's possible to farm. Or, failing that, just live off animal meatā€¦

So anyway, post Zombie survival plans.

I have two plans. One for slow zombies and one for the fast zombies.

Slow zombies: Move by day, use a bicycle as main method of transportation, rely on melee weapons, stay in one area until the resources are depleted then move on.

Fast zombies: Barricade an area and rarely move from it, stay quiet, rely on firearms, only use transports that are fairly well sealed, try to be self sufficient in one area.

In both situations I would never go out at night and I would work alone.

1. Remove stairs. Its the only way up to our third floor apartment.
2. Fill bathtubs with water, since I doubt the water company will stay in business long.
3. Break holes through the walls into the other four apartments on our floor, and do the same in each.
4. Being poor, we always have about a half year's worth of non-perishable food stocked up for emergencies. Being university students, all of our neighbors likely have a lot of non-perishable foods (ramen, rice, and canned food) as well.
5. Cover all the windows and such with furniture so that nobody can see us and the zombies won't think to find a way in.
6. Wait about a year or until we run out of food/water, then make a break for the desert.
.
I'd have to rely entirely on melee weapons, as living on a university campus means that there won't be firearms anywhere nearby. If I am daring enough, I could trek across town to the prison and police armory and get a lot of weapons and riot armour there.

>Home
I would stay in my street, because it's not well known. From there I would start to clean the street of zombies, then place a simple blockade so cars cannot pass through. I would take all the bodies into the middle of the road, as far away from my house as possible, and burn them. After doing so, I would close my curtains, rub some fake blood on the windows to put off any scavengers, then barricade them.
>Food and Water
I would fill all available bottles and containers with water (And you can drink water from the back of your toilet), then raid my local dairy for all the food. I would then go to the local SPCA to get some animals, and use my streets local field to raise a farm.

From there, I'll just continue living. Maybe go into town to scavenge if I'm feeling brave.

Go to the nearest Walmart. It has food, water, guns, ammo, and not too many entrances. If I'm fortunate I'll find a Walmart with only one entrance.
When I run out of supplies I will head north, where the zombies will just freeze, as fast as I can.
Anyone who was thinking of hiding in a mall is zombie fodder.

1.Collect food and aid
2.Collect weapons
3.Find a shelter
4.Make a barricade
5.Find other survivor
6.Build a new society (if the military and goverment failed to safe us all)
7.Survive (Obviously)

1. Stay out of large populated areas. If you are in a zone that people wouled gather so will the Zombies. (Schools, Mall's, Theme Parks, Large City's, ect are out of the question.)
2. Locate a decent supply of food and a water purifyer. Will be takeing it all during the 4th step.
3. Find a decent sized boat in a lake. Unless if this is Resident Evil we are talking about, there won't be any zombies that can swim or drive another boat.
4. Load all the food and water onto the boat and set sail. You have nearly unlimited water with the water purifyer, and if you packed enough food and gas onto the boat you will be able to last at least a year.
5. Zombies are continually rotting, the longer you hold out the more they rot and the less deadly they are. Wait around a year or two they will be gone, but go in at 6 months you can have a Zombie Killing Spree with nothing more than a Katana.

I keep having the Call of Duty game "Zombies" in my mind. Then I remembered Nova Gas don't exist, and zombies don't get stronger.
Go to the grocery store, and equip lots of salt. Zombies hate sodium.
Source: Traditional voodoo magic.
If all else fails:

1. Kill leader.
2. Finish off zombies without leader, since enemies are weaker without their leader.

In case of shaun of the dead type zombies.
1. Get nearest weapon.
2. Go back home.
3. Kill all the zombies within the house.
4. Lock door behind me.
5. Come back during the nights.
6. Go to nearest store that has: Food, a backpack, and better weapons.
7. Stock up and look for survivors.
8. Go along with their plan if they allow you to join them.

In case of High school of the dead type zombies.

Was it the sparkling that gave it away?

No, it was the dashing looks plus the fact that you were fighting a pack of werewolves so you can save some girl.
