special talents

I have the ability to use HTML and I know HTML.

Translation: I have the ability to use HTML and I know HTML.

It's not really a talent, but I have this weird tick.

Ok, let's take a regular word.

Fight: Fight has five letters.
Five: Five has four letters.
Four: Four has four letters.

And that's when the chain stops.

Congratulations: Congratulatinos has fifteen letters.
Fifteen: 7 letters
Seven: 5 letters
5: 4 letters
4: 4 letters

And I have to do this until I finish the chain. And then there are two words

I'm hungry

I'm: 2 letters + Hungry: 6 letters. I have to add the amount of letters together in the second half for the new system, so it becomes 2 + 8
2: 3 letters + 8 : 5 letters.
3: 5 letters + 10: 3 letters
5:4 letters + 7: 9 letters
4: 4 letters + 9: four letters
4: 4 letters + 8: 5 letters

And then I get an infinite chain of 4 8, 4 9, 4 8, 4 9, 4 8, 4 9 until my brain gets sick of it and stops. Yeah, it's fucking weird.

I can pace for hours. No, nut running paces, nor riding a horse. I mean just regular old walking in circles, usually around something like a pillar or a table.

Like that, yeah.

I also have another one where if I hear a sentence, it has to equal up to 20 or 24, 25, or 29. I do this also for my number reason. 24: twenty: 6 letters + 4: 4 letters and so on.

And if I don't get a sentence with that amount I try to change the sentence around to have exactly 20 letters in it.

Example: The cat jumped onto the table. It has 24 letters so I'm OK.
Example: The cat got on the table. That only has 19 letters. So I try to change it in every way possible. The cat went on the table. That has twenty, so I'm fine.

I do this usually whenever I'm watching tv and a character says something that doesn't equal twenty, and I do that for almost every single sentence.

Wow. Have you tried playing pro poker?

This is not a talent, but I might as well share it to you.
I step alternately on colored tiles.

For example, my left foot is on a green tile. When I would step my right foot on something, it should not be green. And the cycle goes on.

Oh. I just remembered something else.

If I'm at the mall I do this weird thing

Let's say there's a tile: x and another tile

I have can only walk in the spaces without blocks. The space with O's are ok
o x o
x x x
o x o

And if there are two tiles I have to walk directly in the middle of them

x____o____ x

Ah, Mister Bond! You may have defeated by legion of doom machines, but you will never pass through,
THE ROOM OF PLAIN WHITE TILES.

BUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Oh yea (if you can call it a talent), I can also write in a crude form of Spencerian script, mainly to piss teachers off:

It looks better when I have lined paper, I swear >.>

I can draw as well. I also have the astounding ability to tell a completely ludicrous story/lie and have others start to believe it. It's my poker face. No one can read it.

Edit: But it has a nasty habit of backfiring, because people have a hard time telling if I'm being sarcastic or not. I could be sarcastic about everything I just said right now. It's incredible.

@Adam DeLand:
Hitchhiker's thumb? Got it; in fact I can bend mine back at nearly a right angle. Similarly, I can put my elbow behind my head. This doesn't sound impressive to most people, but you have to see it. Not like this, but like this.

@Kalmo:
I have the compulsive habit of making six-letter words out of license plate letters. In California at least, a standard license plate will have three random letters, and when I drive around, I read every plate and try to come up with a six-letter word that has those letters in (not necessarily consecutive) order. Some days the compulsion gets so bad I drive without my glasses so I can focus on the road.

@Holy Granola:
My wife can do the clover tongue:

(This is obviously not a picture of my wife.)

@thread:
A talent I am rather proud of is that I'm fairly good at making ambigrams. This is not my best work, but rather the only one I still have since my old computer crashed:

Perhaps I'll make a few new ones so I have a better example…
