Know any good free programs to scan and fix errors on my computer? It's a miracle i'm on right now.

Microsoft Security Essentials . Free, rather efficient, and quite good, IMHO. MSE replaced my Norton antivirus.

I think that should be quite enough… if the problem is not hardware related. If you still have problems, I'm afraid there might be problems in your hard drive or, worse, motherboard.

Does it matter? It fucks up even when I don't move. It's taking me 10 minutes just to make a forum post. And a hour or two to turn the goddamn thing on. I need someprogram that can get rid of all the errors. I scanned it with a shitty program and it said I got like 1810 errors. Then it tells me to buy the full version. Please stop asking questions. I'm getting REALLY annoyed about this stuff.

Well just saying that you have a problem isnt enough information for us to fix it. Although a few solutions have been presented. Downlowed MSE and do a system restore, then come back and tell use if there's something wrong.

Better yet, visit an IT forum and tell them that you have issues. Its free, professional help.

Here is a good place to start: http://www.computer-juice.com/forums/

Have you tried defragmentation?

Also how old is your computer and which windows system does it use?

I tried a quick scan and system restore. Helped a little. I'm now trying a full scan.

I use Norton, but you have to pay for it. It's really good, though, and I've never run across any problems with viruses or anything, ever.

I tried it and my system still freezes a lot but not as much. What do I do if something IS wrong with my hard drive or motherboard? (sorry for bumping this thread)
