It takes guts to post these… Well… here it goes. My second attempt at a continue the story! KYM's Quest for Zelda.

It was that time of the year, the annual KYM institute camping trip was at its halfway point. Despite having rented out the entire campground, KYM's tents and campers where still crowded together in an unorganized fashion that created a jumbled mess that was impossible to navigate. Nobody seemed to mind however.
On that day, a group of the users ventured out into an extremely long hiking trail, one that they probably would not reach the end of and be forced to turn back. Amongst them was the slightly clumsier than usual Natsuru Springfeild, who walked along and chatted with her fellow users. Taken by surprise, she slipped and fell off an extremely large cliff. Kalmo quickly grabbed her arm but was dragged down with her by her surprising weight. Derpy Hooves quickly grabbed Kalmo's arm but was dragged down along with the other two. Quickly Russian Fedora, Mister J, and Captain Badass had grabbed Derpy, but where dragged down also. Soon, all the other users attempted to save the human noodle from falling to their death, but the process repeated itself until everyone but Taryn (who quite honestly didn't give a shit) was plummeting down to what seemed to be their deaths.
However, by some miracle they landed in a river and where washed downstream several miles, and into ruins of a cathedral…
Curious, the group wandered inside, wondering why such a building was in the middle of an American wildlife preserve. Suddenly, the doors slam and the walls glowed. The interior seemed to de-age, forming into glowing white marble and stained glass windows. A sword glowed in the center of the room, eventually engulfing everyone in white light.

"Heroes, you must save Princess Zelda and the 8 shrine maidens of light!"

When the group awoke, they found themselves in a meadow clad in various colored tunics… in the distance they could see a tree covered temple surrounded by an ominous rotating dark cloud…

TL;DR: You and everyone else are now in the mysterious land of Hyrule and you can go save Zelda and the other 8 maidens. The dungeons must be tackled in order. Points There's the first dungeon, NOW GO!

In the distance, you see a flickering light move towards you. As the light approaches, the users see that it is tinged blue. When it gets near, you see that it is trying to get your attention.

Listening to it, this is what it says…

HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN!

"Well before we get there, we need a plan and weapons." said Kalmo.

Suddenly a bunch of weapons appear in front of them.

"Whoa.. Ok.. I guess I'll taaaaaaaake…. This one!"

DUH NA NA NAAAAA! Kalmo received the Sword!

(Pick a weapon if you want one from the Zelda series)

LISTEN! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN!

"There… That's ONE problem solved…" Kalmo said.

Mr. J watched as Kalmo started swinging the sword and almost cut of RF's ear, after he cleaned his bloody hands.
"Hmmmm.", he thought, "A sword sounds fun. I should know how to use a sword….." he said as he picked up another sword.
He swung it.
It fell hard on his toes.
"……on second thought,maybe I should take the arrows."

"Hey, uh, guys, could you give me some tips here? I've never played the LoZ games"

Said RF.

"Meh,I'll take the iron boots."
Said Laser Pacer.

Kalmo proceeds to stare at RF. ಠ~ಠ
Kalmo hits RF with the hilt of his blade.

DUH NA NA NAAAAAAAAAA! RF got a concussion

Natsuru picked up one of the swords and unsheathed it. "This thing isn't a sword! It's a sharped stick with a hilt!" She casually swung it as it fired off a white laser, blowing up a nearby rock.

"…"

"THIS IS AWESOME!" She charged into the forest in the general direction of the temple.

Mr. J watched as Natsuru ran, tripped on some rocks and fell on her face.
That must've hurt. Everyone ran over to help her up.

Captain Badass thinks to himself, "Hmm, if this is LoZ, then there should be…here it is!" DU-NUU-NUU-NUUUUUU Captain Badass got the hookshot! He takes a practice shot at a tree. Unfortunately the the hookshot is not long enough so Captain Badass moves closer. After hitting the tree he is pulled right into it, and is now in the forest going towards the temple.

Edit: Totally forgot the sound effect

"Hey guys, wait up! Don't keep all the fun to yourselves!" Kalmo looks around.
"Ohh, sweet! Dibs!" Kalmo received the Pegasus boots and puts them on.
"Let's try these babies o-oooooOOOOOOOUUUUUUUT!"
Kalmo dashes off into the forest at high speed, cutting down any bushes in his way.

Laser Pacer sees something in the lake and decided to take a closer look.But he slipped and the iron boots weight drowns him.He reach the bottom of the lake,and he sees an Ocarina and a Boomerang.He take both of them and take off the boots so he can swim.When he reach the surface,he realized how terrible he is at musical instrument,so he puts it on top of RF's body,take a shield and go after everyone.

"What the-!?!" Natsuru said as she fell flat. As she was helped up, she noticed something she probably should have noticed strait away. "Why is my tunic so baggy?" She noticed how it was sort of a lace up type of deal (similar to TP link's tunic) and tightened the entire thing. "Ok, shall we move on?"

Then, she triped over somthing else. "WHAT THE FU-!!" She looked back over and picked up what tripped her. "A stick?-!!" DU-NU-NU-NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! Natsuru got the Fire Rod. "SWEET!"

Natsuru takes off down the path Kalmo made in hopes of catching up (eventually), burning random patches of grass along the way for Rupees.

Ashbot isn't very good a making stories, Ashbot isn't contributing to this thread.

And RussianFedora is still knocked out, laying on the ground in front of the Cathedral.

After a few hours, RF woke up, stood up, and his concussion was miraculously healed, and no damage (Besides a sizable bruise on his forehead) Was done to him. He looked around. Everyone had left and were off on an adventure. So, RF decided to climb up the ledge and go back to camp. Once he reached the top, he said hi to Taryn and went over to his tent.

"Man, Kalmo really likes LoZ…."

As the bruised and slightly dazed Russian Fedora climbed up to the ledge, he saw Taryn and told him the whole story.
Taryn gasped.
"You let Kalmo down there to die and you just ran away? You [insert swear words Taryn usually use]! I trusted you!"
He was so angry he grabbed Russian Fedora by the collar and threw him back down the cliff.
Miraculously, RF didn't die. Instead, he landed on top of Mr. J and almost got impaled by the arrows he was carrying.
Mr. J helped him up and handed RF a stick. A very plain, hard, sharp, non-magical stick.
"Use it wisely."

"Uh, thank you?"

RF walked towards the temple where the others were.

Natsuru wandered around the forest. "Hmm… I couled have sworn I saw this rock before… perhaps I am walking in circles?"

She kept walking. "Damn, theres that rock again!" She shouted. Sticking a nearby stick into the ground, she continued going strait.

"What the Hell!?" She found her stick again, right next to the rock. "But I swear I am going strait!!"

Along the way, Kalmo noticed Natsuru. He was unable to stop, and kept going straight but noticed that he kept passing her.
"Hey… Natsuru… What's…. up?!"
Kalmo then tripped over the rock and rolled for about a minute before finally stopping.
After vomiting for two minutes, Kalmo gained his strength.
"We must be in the lost woods. We know that that isn't the right way." Kalmo points east.
"Let's try this way." After walking for a while, Kalmo hears a familiar tune.
"Oh! Oh-oh! C'mon! Come on! Come on! Come on! HOT!!! What a hot beat! WHOOOOAH! YEEEEAH! YAHOOO!!" Kalmo proceeds to dance and is unable to stop.
"What in God's name are you doing?" Natsuru asked.
"I don't know! Whenever I hear this song I just get lost in the music! Heh heh… Get it? Lost?"
"…" Natsuru punches Kalmo in the face.
"Ow! Well at least that made me stop dancing… We should probably get going before it gets dark."
They head onward.

DA DA DA DAAAAAAAAAAAA!:

FoeHammer got the Big Goron Sword!

He picked it up, admiring how it was twice his height.

"Fuck yea."

"Guys? Guys?!" Wsx yelled franticly. Looking at a sign to hopefully find where he was, he read
"Super Hardcore Temple Of Doooom!"
GODDAMMIT.

All of a sudden, Philip J. Fry pops out from behind a bush.

"Hey guys, can I join your party? I got lost in the forest a few months ago and I've been living off of pumpkins and rats and I've had to protect myself from Octoroks and Dodongos with sticks and rocks and I'm tired and hungry. ;_;"

As I finally regain conciousness, I see the great fairy sword. I proceed to pick it up. I then give Phillip the megaton hammer and some food. I then grab the double clawshots.
which are NOT the same as the hookshot.
and i'm wearing a black tunic.

I think something's wrong, I don't remember any of this happening.

That's because you were up on the cliff thinking to yourself, and you weren't adventure-ing with us.

That's right we're going to AAAAAAADVENTURE! (I know Kalmo would get it, but I don't know about the rest of you)
Captain Badass was wondering why everyone was getting the best weapons at the beginning of the adventure (that's not how it works) and continued onward, humming along to the catchy music. "DO-DO-DOOO DO-DO-DOOO!" Eventually he began to think that he was going in circles, so he tried going back and realized he was back at the entrance. "Damn it, I'll find this temple eventually!" He eventually found a part of the forest that looked different from the rest, because it had a pond of some sort, so he waited there for someone to come by that knew how to get to the temple.

Laser Pacer is still looking for everyone.

A wild Dodongo appears!
Because of panic,Laser Pacer throw his boomerang at it,and it was useless.He ran away in a speed of light,until he regroups with Mister J and Russian Fedora.
At least he's not alone now.Its dangerous out there.

It should be in third person, and you're grabbing too many good things, and you can't do everything right almost immediately. It makes your reader bored and the story uninteresting. I'm not insulting you, but it's true. Also we already started first person, so switching to first wouldn't be consistent.

oh. sorry. and foehammer got the biggoron sword.

Suddenly, As Jarate was walking along, ALL his items got stolen. but luckily, he found a mirror shield. he later found the razor sword and the ball and chain.

that good enough, kalmo?

Better. Also, although Foe did pick the Biggoron Sword, it's not as bad as it is the only item he chose.

Jarate later found the lost forest. he found natsuru walking through the same room over and over again. he knew the concept of the lost forest from playing the legend of zelda. he facepalmed at natsuru, and left the way he came.

Jarate went to the first temple. when he got there, he could see that this wasn't gonna be easy.
he saw a compicated puzzle. he decided to adventure around for a bit.

After adventuring around the temple for a while, he finds the blue candle. he uses the candle to burn the rope at the puzzle. the door opens.

"Can't let you do that, Star Fox."
As Mr. J dragged Russian Fedora behind him desperately trying to catch up with Kalmo and Natsuru, he noticed something on the ground. It looks like a flute of some sort……. A WHISTLE! That's right. He started playing some random notes and suddenly RF started doing the moonwalk.
"Well THAT'S powerful," Mr. J thought to himself.
He continued playing as RF tried to stop his feet, hobbling along.

(I'm pretty sure I just used a non-existent cheat code here)
(RF You better stop yourself.)

"Don't worry, RF, I'll save you!"

Philip J. Fry finds a random vidya controller lying on the ground and presses ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → Ⓑ Ⓐ [SELECT] [START].

RF magically is released from the spell.

After 3 hours of trial and error, Kalmo and Natsuru finally made it to the entrance of the temple. "Thank the goddesses!" Kalmo shouted as he walked up to the door. However, somebody was waiting on a branch above them…

After destroying the bird, Natsuru and Kalmo ran around finding plenty of things unlocked and raided, but about half of the things where still locked. "Wait… somebody must have already reached a midboss!" They ran down the hallway to what seemed to be the midboss chamber…

I'm sorry for doing this again, but you can't just say "The character did something and then went somewhere." You need description and details . Ex: "Kalmo searched the room for anything to help him move forward, when the walls started closing in. He started to panic and frantically started to look when he noticed a switch. He pulled out his bow and arrow, and fired, but missed. He tried again, taking his time, and when he fired his bow it hit the wall, then the ceiling and just kept bouncing around the room with Kalmo trying to avoid it. Just before it seemed like Kalmo was about to be crushed, the arrow flipped the switch and opened the door. Kalmo sprinted for it as fast as he could, barely escaping being crushed." Something like that.

"after about 2 hours of weird puzzle shit, Jarate finally made it to the boss room. lo and behold, the boss was the horseless headless horsemann!" I'm gonna be honest, that's boring. Just try to find some inspiration and have fun with it. Just stating the obvious or going directly into an obstacle without any description on how he got there, is boring and bland, and the reader will most likely skim through what you wrote.

As jarate was just about to face the boss, Natsuru and kalmo burst into the room, Jarate said "wow, that was lucky. could you guys help me face this guy?"

"Attack his eye! No wait… Tongue! No… Ummm… HIS BUTT!"

As Natsuru shouted random things that usually are the weak points in Zelda games, something much much bigger erupted from the ground, roaring as it smashed the Headless Horseless Horseman.

"Oh wow…"

Foehammer dragged the sword behind him as he attempted to catch up to the others. It was big and powerful, but DEAR GOD it was heavy. Then he remembered. The Golden Gauntlets! He dropped the sword and ran back to what amounted to the armory, and picked them up. Instantly he was magically stronger, and ran back excitedly. Now he could hold the damn sword up, he raised it in triumph:

"I HAVE THE POWER!"

Jarate used his razor sword to smash the brain. the sword impaled through the brain and critically weakened the monster. "99 more hits left on this sword." jarate thought to himself. "if i could only find some gold dust."
