For those of you who haven't watched the Pokemon anime since 2001 (including myself), they've apparently done some character-swapping. Lo and behold:

Looks like they've replaced Brock again, too.

Wat.

RIOT IN THE MUTHERFUCKING STREETS

You guys think Meowth chose this?

MEOWTH WAS FIRED FROM TEAM ROCKET! HE DIDN'T CHOOSE TO LEAVE!

Jesus Christ, people, show some respect.

Also, Cilan is way better than Brock, although Iris is a total bitch.

Thanks for more support against the purists. Also, Iris may be a bitch, but at least she's still funny.

Since when? Most of them think that it's just temporary and he'll go back soon enough.

Don't try to out-/vp/ me, I am the /vp/ representative on KYM. I have /vp/ open in another tab as I'm typing this. KNEEL BEFORE MY /VP/ KNOWLEDGE! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

Maybe. Or Meowth suddenly realized his true feelings for Pikachu.

Hey, they ALREADY tore up the natural order. They might as well go the liberal route.

By the way, I'm not sure if you can catch my sarcasm, so I'm just going to leave this sentence here.

Okay, as someone who has repeatedly admitted that he knows almost nothing about Pokemon, I'd like to ask a question I've always wondered: Why is it that Meowth can talk?

There was an episode on why he's able to. Apparently he wanted to impress a female Mewoth by trying to be more human, but it didn't go as expected because she then saw him as a freak afterwords.

So this Meowth is unique in that respect? Interesting.

Or, you know, they could just end Pokemon after almost 15 years. Ash is supposed to be 25. He hasn't gotten a job, he's a failure as a Pokemon master. I mean seriously, even his fucking rival decided to give up on being a trainer and actually doing something with his life. Not only that but Ash does not have the same voice actor, so now he sounds retarded. Misty was replaced which was the only girl in the show I liked. And Brock, the horndog, is now gone. Ash is the only one still trying to be the master.

Ash never will be because Pikachu gets his ass kicked even though he's been in more Pokemon battles than Michael Vick set up animal fights. And Ash actually could have a chance if he kept a single Pokemon other than Pikachu for more than a season. I mean seriously, at least keep one.

Not only that, but why should he bother finishing his Pokedex? There's over 150 each new season, so he's never gonna find them all on his own. He needs to go BACK to Pallet Town, and help his poor mother who's been alone for years now.

Even Team Rocket shaped up and got their shit together, so you know that's pathetic.

Face it. The games will last for a long time. But at least let the show die with what dignity it has left.

Then how are we going to see each new Pokemon in movement? I was really anxious to see how Snivy was going to be in the anime, and if there was to be a Generation VI, then I would want the same to happen with a certain Pokemon in that.

Actually, Pokemon went in this order:
Game
Anime
Manga

But actually I've wondered this for a while, Pokemon has well over 600 episodes, so is there any anime longer than that? Because I don't think there is.

No, you don't get it. They have to be moving, not just pictures.

I do get it though. And I still stand by my answer. The story is much better in the manga, the dialogue isn't kidsy, and everything just looks better. The animation shouldn't have to make the whole thing. The animation for the Pokemon's moves aren't that interesting anyway because they basically look the same.
