The zombie apocalypse has struck. Zombies roam the streets you once loved, and many of your loved ones are now part of the horrific crowd. You may only choose one of the kits above to use in your fight and survival against the mindless beasts. Which one do you choose?

B.
My strategy would be to find a good hiding place, use the M14 to pick off undead. The MP5 wouldn't have much use, but I'd put it on semi-auto anyways to conserve bullets. I also might find a creative use for the claymore. The katana would work well as a defense weapon in close-quarters, because zombies don't know fear, and if they're shambling right at you, a handgun is the only thing that can help you.

As for the supressors… I'll probably keep them on, as the undead are attracted to noise.

Old school slow zombie, like in Night of the Living Dead or Shaun of the Dead, rather than the 28 Days Later running zombies.

I'd just walk away than.

B. You only have oh-so-many bullets, meaning it all comes down to your melee weapon. Although the chainsaw would seem to be the better choice, it would probably take a long time to make a clean slice through a zombie cutting through bone and all that.
Also, I've always wanted to snipe zombies.

B. Sniper for the long distance, silenced MP5 for short. Claymores for protection. Chainsaw would be too much trouble with it's weight and still requires either fuel or electricity, also the sound would attract zombies. Better decapitate them with a katana.

As for a hiding spot, somewhere on top of a ladder. I wouldn't even need to take away the ladder.

A, because I love shotguns, and you get two pistols (I'm guessing that one might break). Every other kit is meh, although I would much prefer a baseball bat over the machette. But then, that is the easiest weapon to find and I can always switch out when I find a Wal Mart or Academy Sports.

That's not a machete. The melee weapon in Kit A is a kukri. It's a like a katana if it were a knife.

I'd have to go with D out the fact I know all that stuff is easily maintained, will guarantee me a kill and are easy enough to use.
*M249: Accurate, reliable enough, its standard cartridge is common in the states and can be belt or magazine fed, can put down ridiculous amounts of lead to prevent a undead rush
*M1911: Highly reliable, accurate enough, common cartridge, high stopping power
*Baseball bat: Never needs to be sharpened, extremely easy to use, can be used to open windows
*HE grenade: When it goes off, I DONT need to worry about the shrapnel not hitting the brain. The shockwave will do that just fine and make some brain pudding.

B.
By the way, there's no such thing as a silenced weapon. Putting a silencer on your weapon isn't going to help worth shit, it barely lowers the loudness.

Don't rely on silencers.

Also, if you dare to argue with me, look at this.

Gunpowder is as loud as a jet engine. Putting a little tube on your gun isn't going to help much. It does make a shot harder to track, but I think it's going to be harder to fool a zombie than a human.

primary C. an M-16 with scope and undercarriage grenade launcher you could get by with this alone.

secondary A. 2 x berretta 9mm all you need to do is hit the brain case any higher caliber is overkill.

malee B. a good sharp sword for when you need to take off a head or two.

explosive B. remote detonators to cover your ass in retreat.

If I have to choose only one kit I choose B.

B. Silencers prevent distant zombies from hearing me. Set up claymores near hiding spot so no remaining or new zombies can sneak up on me. Fortify hideout. Use ultra sharp katana to shave.

You don't have to worry about them hearing you, they can smell your flesh

So, I'm doing a bit of analysis, and B is clearly best.
First of all, you've got the most lethal guns. Second, looking at the melee, katanas have been proven to be the best bladed weapon. If you need to chop heads, the katanas are your best bet. Kukris aren't too bad, though. Also, mines are useful for protecting choke points.

Yea B is clearly the best with your long range rifle a 9mm that can switch from simi to full auto a katana and remote detonated mines. Most of the other weapons are overkill or too much to carry. I mean what use is a gas can you have to carry around and how many molotov cocktails can you carry at once?

I'm assuming that these zombies need to be killed with headshots, a la Zombie Survival Guide?
If so, an automatic weapon that can't be set to single shots (The one in B. can) is a waste of ammunition, which is sure to be scarce in the zombie apocalypse.
