You've beaten your friend's high score. You countered Zerg rushes. You can beat the Lunatic AI autododging script in Touhou. You are a damn good gamer – and everyone you know knows it too. But are you really up for a challenge?
After a few days of contemplation, I have finally managed to compile a list of challanges so devious, only a seasoned gamer can complete. Are you ready?

  1. Complete a Touhou game on Lunatic in a moving vehicle.
  2. Clear Street Fighter 2 without using any specials.
  3. Beat JENOVA LIFE before Aerith's theme reaches its third loop.
  4. Perform the Nuzlocke challenge in Pokemon Black, twice.
  5. Clear LIMBO without dying.
  6. Find a situation where Guile's Theme does not apply.
  7. Finish the SPECIAL stages in Super Mario World drunk.
  8. Finish a 1-3 match in SSBB as Ganon.
  9. Beat Orphan in FFXIII with a full ravager team (Forgot what it was called.)
  10. Reach the Far Lands on foot.
  11. Get to stage 3 in Touhou UFO without completing a UFO.
  12. Play any of the Simpsons games on the NES without vomiting.

So far, I've only done one. How about you?

The Simpsons games aren't THAT bad, I actually ejoyed the Bartman one (but it's still bad).
You don't need to do insane things just to proof that you are a true gamer, only enjoy games as the are, entertainment and challenge.

If we are on hard challenges, then what about these ones as well?

1) Beating Event 51 as Mewtwo without specials in less than one minute.
2) Beating Hagane without even losing health points.
3) Beating DKC and DKC2 with only Diddy Kong and without using his rolling jump (and get the perfect percentage of completion).
4) Beat every Mega Man game without even using any special weapon neither a turbo controller.
5) Get out of your linit area in GTA San Andreas (on your first play) and survive.
6) Beat Ikaruga on the hardest difficulty without even losing once.
7) Play Guile's Theme on a stereo with full volume everywhere you go for one day.

Here's a challenge:

1) Beat Ocarina of Time Master Quest without getting hit…ONCE!
2) Play and beat every game on Action 52 without vomiting. (or as far as you can get in the game before it crashes)
3) Beat Castlevania 1 without getting hit once.
4) Find 20 things Francis doesn't hate.
5) Play Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and DO ALL THE THINGS! Without dying. (unless it calls for you to die)
6) Make an Irish Drinking Song for video games.
7) ??
8) PROFIT!!!

1) Assemble the real Zelda Timeline and get Nintendo to Agree with you.
2) Unlock all Xbox Achivements. ALL OF THEM.
3) Beat Touhou 7's Phantasim Stage without fireing a single shot.
4) Go to a Gamer-Con/Ota-con an name every single video game cosplay you see.
5) Beat M.U.G.E.N's Chuck Norris with the Kung Fu Man.
6) Finish Tales of Symphonia with only Lloyd, No Items, and with only the Wooden Swords.
7) Speedrun Metroid in under 3 hours.
8) Complete Lego Star Wars, the Complete Saga without dieing once. (Nearly Impossible)

Ohhhh, aye-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di!

So you think that you're a gamer?
I think you're full of crap!
You've got to do the difficult things,
Like play without a map.

Play Touhou, and Castlevania,
Play all the Zeldas and Marios.
Your destiny is to be The Guy,
And vanquish all your foes!

Ohhhh, aye-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di-dee-di!

I've got just one.

Beat Bart's Nightmare for the SNES with an A+.

As for the OP's list, I completed numbers 4 and 7 before this challenge even began.

Edit: Okay, maybe one more. Lion King for SNES. Beat it while drunk, devoid of sleep, or while watching Inception {only if you're watching it for the first time. If not, defer to Memento instead}.

That right there.

After breaking enough things…and paying for them or doing without, you realize that maybe you, personally, should only play to the point where you are challenged, dwell in the land of enjoyment, and just edge the precipice of frustration from time to time.

Beating castlevania 1 without getting hit once? Its hard, but not impossible, done that already.
Action 52 one is IMPOSSIBLE (also, its impossible because of the 2 player games that are endless), so it is valid for francis non-hated stuff…

Well, i'll give you a challenge play simon's quest from the start, with the original whip only and get the BEST ending.

Beat any ultimate doom chapter on nightmare mode with pistol only.

Beat SotN with 200% using no armor, subweapons, swords, maces, staffs or anything, beat it without any equipment. (Excluding Holy glasses, Gold and Silver rings too, or any items that are required to pass by the castle)

There are so maaaany challenges to do…

btw street fighter 2 one is the easiest challenge of all of those listed here /axekickftw

I've got some anti-challenges, challenges that would be easy for a casual gamer but hard for a hardcore gamer:

1: Play and beat New Super Mario Bros Wii with any one who has not played a video game before, take your time, don't get the star world or use any warp pipes.

2: Gather a total of 20 hours on any Angry Birds game, have fun doing it.

3: Beat any RPG without going out of your way to find any spells/equipment/items/etc. and don't grind at all unless ABSOLUTELY mandatory, and always take the route that seems easiest at the time, even if you know it may not be the best.

These may seem silly but many marble-thumbed pros might find these difficult, especially the last one.

What kind of witchcraft is this?!

Beat Fire Emblem 6 on hard mode.
I couldn't beat it on normal mode without using save states. IT'S REALLY FREAKIN' HARD!

Also, pick any RPG. Beat it using only one character. Bonus points if it isn't the main character.

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days.
Beat it using my level 1256 Dreadnaught Yggdrasil.
Tee hee hee.

Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty

Beat the Plant level without getting the SOCOM suppressor and M9.No strangling, too.
Also, you need to get the AK-47 suppressor without falling down to the sea in one attempt.

On the side of the whole story of hard challenges for pros but easy for casual gamers… Here comes one

Beat Castlevania Dracula X (Yep SNES, not Drac X chronicles), and also Rondo of Blood without rescuing anyone or heading to secret stages. It's a urge i have, its impossible for me to obey not to do these things. Also, beating Dracula on the SNES version using the cross (Its much easier with the axe)

I can't speak for most of them, but…

Are you kidding me? If you can't do this you're pathetic. That's way too easy.
